Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 a regular election will be held in the City of Walcott for the purpose of electing:  

CITY COUNCIL
City Council Member at Large (2 positions)              (4 year terms - min 8 signatures)
City Council Member unexpired term (1 position)    (2 year term – min 8 signatures)
 
PARK BOARD
City Park Board Member (2 positions)                      (4 year terms - min 1 signature)
 
Any qualified elector who has been a resident of the City of Walcott for at least nine (9) months is eligible to be a member of the City Council, and at least thirty (30) days to be a member of the Park Board. Candidates are required to file a Petition/Certificate of Nomination, and a Statement of Interest. Forms are available on the City of Colfax’s website at www.cityofwalcott.org.
 
Candidates must file the required forms with Jen Skoog, City Auditor, no later than 4:00 o’clock p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026.
