Council Meeting - 2/4/19

​The Walcott City Council Meeting was held February 4, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining, council members Brown, Oestreich. Also in attendance were Arnold Jordheim and Rosemary Hunt.
January Minutes were read and approved by Brown, 2nd by Oestreich. All approved, motion carried.
Rosemary Hunt inquired about water hooked ups.
Discussion was held regarding the City purchasing 100 feet of the Church property. Vining will provide additional information for the next church council meeting.
Discussion of new sewer rates will be held during the next meeting.
Discussion held regarding the advertising of gravel bids for the upcoming year. Brown motioned to directly contact gravel companies for bids in lieu of advertising in the newspaper, Oestreich 2nd. All approved, motion carried.
2018 City Financials were presented to the Council. Oestreich motioned to accept the presented financials, Brown 2nd. All Approved, motion carried.
Water bills were discussed.
