Council Meeting - 2/3/20

​The Walcott City Council Meeting was held February 3, 2020 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining and council members Bennes, Brown, Rhodenbaugh, and Oestreich. Also in attendance were Arnold Jordheim and James Jehlik.
January Minutes were read and approved by Rhodenbaugh, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried.
James Jehlik approached the board about increasing his chicken flock from 6 to 12 birds. Rhodenbaugh motioned, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried.
BJ Selsteadt will be moving end of February. Brian Boyle will be taking over all water monitoring duties.
Bids are set to open February 5th for master lift station.
Due to weather, the next church meeting was rescheduled, therefore the discussion regarding the purchase of church land will be tabled for future discussion.
Glacier Ent will be hired to clear built up snow along city streets, allowing snow to be easily removed during the next snow event.
The city website is currently under construction, utilizing a new hosting platform.
Mayor Vining will follow up on an estimate for new meters for the city.
Water bills were discussed.
