Council Meeting - 6/4/19

​The Walcott City Council Meeting was held June 4, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining, council members Bennes, Brown, Rhodenbaugh, Oestreich. Also in attendance were Arnold Jordheim and Brian Bergantine with AE2S.
May Minutes were read and approved by Rhodenbaugh, 2nd by Brown. All approved, motion carried.
Brian Bergantine presented the most recent plan for the New Master Lift Station and answered questions. Job bidding will open July 11th. Official bidding will be published in the Wahpeton Daily News in the upcoming weeks.
Resolution 2019-3 was read and authorizes an increase in sewer rate to $30 per month effective December 1st, 2019. Rhodenbaugh motioned to approve, Bennes 2nd. All Approved, motion carried.
Discussion was held regarding an upcoming meter reading audit. All residents will have their meter audited in the upcoming months by auditor and City Council members.
Water bills were discussed.
