Council Meeting - 9/9/19

​The Walcott City Council Meeting was held September 9, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining, council members Bennes, Brown, Rhodenbaugh, and Oestreich. Also in attendance were Arnold Jordheim, Sue Farsdale, and Jim Dahlman with Interstate Engineering.
August Minutes were read and approved by Rhodenbaugh, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried.
Sue Farsdale reported that her neighbor will be working on cleaning up items in yard and tearing down empty home.
Vining report that some alleys have been cleaned up and graveled.
AE2S will be contacting various construction companies to determine interest in future bidding for the New Master Lift Station.
Glacier Enterprises located the sewer line on the church property.
Jon Rieger is putting up a seed building on his property just outside of town. Vining will issue the necessary permit since it is near city limits.
Vining is actively working on estimates for a sign board near the water payment box.
Jim Dahlman provided information regarding Remote Read Meters for the city water system.
Water bills were discussed.
Next Meeting October 7, 2019.
Rhodenbaugh motioned to adjourn, Bennes 2nd. All Approved, motion carried.
