Council Meeting - 10/5/2020

​The Walcott City Council Meeting was held October 5, 2020 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining and council members Bennes, Brown, and Rhodenbaugh.
September Minutes were read and approved by Rhodenbaugh, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried.
AE2S will be coming out soon to install the new notification system. All graveling has been completed near the new lift station.
Vining will contact Glacier to have fire hydrants fixed, along with patching the hole on main street. New street signs have been received and will be replaced soon.
The lagoon has been drained and the required testing has been completed and passed.
Due to increase garbage costs, Rhodenbaugh motioned to increase the monthly garbage charge to $18/mo, effective with payments due January 1, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried.
Council reviewed proposed 2021 Special Assessments. Bennes motioned to include past water charges for R. Anderson and mowing completed at W. Wallace property, 2nd by Rhodenbaugh. All approved, motion carried.
Monthly billing is required on the Schmidt property due to tenant non-payment. Council discussed adding an admin fee of $7/mo. Bennes motioned to add the admin fee, 2nd by Rhodenbaugh. All approved, motion carried.
Water bills were discussed.
Next Meeting October 5, 2020.
Brown motioned to adjourn, Bennes 2nd. All Approved, motion carried.
