Council Meeting - 2/1/21

​The Walcott City Council Meeting was held February 1st, 2021 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining and council members Bennes, Brown, Rhodenbaugh, and Oestreich.
January Minutes were read and approved by Rhodenbaugh, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried.
New Lift Station and monitoring system is working well. City received first 3 months of monitoring for free. Currently waiting on paperwork from Ohnstead Twitchell to finalize the project.
A couple new water meters are not working properly. Vining is working with Ferguson on a solution.
Braaten has requested a building permit to erect two more grain bins on their current property. Oestreich motioned to approve the request, Rhodenbaugh 2nd. All approved, motion carried.
Annual chicken agreement for Jehlik was reviewed. Rhodenbaugh motioned to approve, Brown 2nd. All approved, motion carried.
Council is considering options for City records storage, including the well house or the city shop. Auditor will work on consolidating and boxing records for storage.
Water bills were discussed.

Oestreich motioned to adjourn, Bennes 2nd. All Approved, motion carried.
