The Walcott City Council Meeting was held March 2, 2020 at 7:30 pm at the Walcott Fire Hall.
In attendance were Mayor Vining and council members Bennes, Brown, Rhodenbaugh, and Oestreich. Also in attendance were Brian Bergantine and Chase Julson with AE2S, and Arnold Jordheim. February Minutes were read and approved by Rhodenbaugh, 2nd by Bennes. All approved, motion carried. Brian & Chase reviewed the bids received during the bidding process. Discussion was held. Bennes motioned to accept the New Master Lift Station bid from CC Steel, LLC for $384,500, 2nd by Rhodenbaugh. All approved, motion carried. New website is now up and working, found at www.cityofwalcott.org. Discussion held regarding possible new water meters. Tax Equalization Meeting will be held Thursday, April 9 at 7pm at the Walcott Fire Hall. Water bills were discussed. Next Meeting April 6, 2020. Bennes motioned to adjourn, Oestreich 2nd. All Approved, motion carried.
